Who We’re Looking For
Does the idea of working in highly motivated team appeal to you? Do you want to start a hugely rewarding career in the Revenues and Benefits Team? We are looking to recruit two Apprentices, one to be based in each team. The successful candidates must be proactive and motivated who has strong organisational skills and attention to detail. Our Revenues and Benefits teams are responsible for the day-to-day administration of the Council Tax, Non-Domestic Rates and Housing Benefit records.
What Will You Study?
All Apprentices will be supported to complete a QCF (Qualification Credit Framework, formerly NVQ) qualification in Business Administration, Level 3 via a training provider or local college.
What will you be paid?
This is a fixed term post for a two-year period and will start in September. You will be paid National Minimum Wage dependent on age:
Benefits Package
Due to the Apprenticeship entry criteria, applications cannot be accepted from any applicant who has already gained a similar qualification at level 3 or above in the role applied for. For example, if you have a degree in Civil Engineering you will not be eligible to apply for a Civil Engineering apprenticeship post. However, you could apply for any other apprenticeship post. Any such applications will not be considered.
