Job Description

Finance Officer – Schools Finance Team

Salary: G06 - £26,421 - £27,804 (37 Hours per week)

Contract: Permanent

An opportunity has arisen within the Council’s Finance & ICT Department for a Finance Officer post in the School’s Finance Team. The post is generic and will provide wide ranging financial support across all aspects of the department.

The post will provide Finance support to all Wrexham’s Schools ensuring Financial returns and monitoring are completed within the required deadlines, this post gives the successful candidate the opportunity to work with a range of colleagues including Head Teachers, Schools Support Staff & the Education Management Team.

Ideally you will be a qualified or part qualified accounting technician with experience of providing financial advice and support to managers.
