Job Description

Are you an experienced leader/manager who is passionate about the development of others?

Are you interested in offering management qualifications to individuals through your own diary management? If so, we want to hear from you!

The assessor role involves assessing and training candidates on the Level 3/4/5 Higher Apprenticeship in Leadership and Management, which includes supporting learners to achieve the Essential Skill qualification in Application of Number, Communication and Digital Literacy. 

Successful applicants will have previous experience of working within a leadership and/or managerial role and possess a great attitude and a willingness to adapt and further develop. A qualification held in Leadership & Management or assessment practice (Assessor qualification) is not essential.

This position is home-based (field-based) however as travel is expected to visit learners in the workplace the ability to travel is essential. Caseload areas will be allocated based on the successful applicant's geographical location. This is usually within an approximate 50-mile radius however this may be exceeded from time to time.

Salary: £28,000 to £32,500 per annum based on experience and qualifications held, PLUS a £1,000 Welsh-speaking uplift.

Base: Field-based (home-based)

Hours: Full-time (37 hours per week). Reduced hours will be considered.
