Are you a confident communicator interested in helping to prevent crime and contribute to positive policing outcomes?
We’re searching for a Corporate Communications Officer to join our growing team of professionals as we work together to provide a first-class service to the public.
We’re looking for someone who will be able to build positive relationships with our stakeholders, influence people at all levels of the organisation, and work well as part of a team.
This is a varied and fast-paced role where you’ll manage communications around operational policing matters on press desk and also get stuck in to planning and delivering communications activity that informs communities about the work we do to keep people safe, helps land projects with our workforce, and more.
You’ll also be comfortable working in a dynamic environment where no two days are the same. Media law knowledge is a bonus but not a must.
Where you have experience, you will hit the ground running. Training will be available for areas in which you are not as experienced, and you’ll become part of a friendly, passionate, and supportive team. You’ll also join the on-call rota when you’re ready.
If this sounds like you, or you have a background in the media, marketing, or a busy communications role - we’d love to hear from you.
