We are looking for an ambitious, enthusiastic, energetic and focussed individual to join the Chief Officer Team in leading the delivery of policing services for communities within the Dyfed Powys Police area. You will contribute to the development and implementation of appropriate and effective strategies and policies and take command of policing and operational matters as and when required, including as a member of the Gold Command rota.
You will have the operational and leadership credibility to help ensure we get the best policing service we can for our communities. The area served by Dyfed-Powys Police includes Carmarthenshire, Ceredigion, Pembrokeshire and Powys.
We serve more than 515,000 people, which rises significantly with tourists each year. Almost half of the total resident population is aged 45 and over, and 22% are aged over 65.
