Global Response provides medical assistance and claims handling services to travel insurance policy holders and corporate clients across the globe.  Our UK-based operations centre provides round the clock medical assistance to policy holders who suffer injury or illness while travelling overseas, and our dedicated claims team handles a huge range of travel claims from lost luggage to pet care.

With an experienced, multi-lingual team, in-house medical staff and a superb reputation within the travel insurance industry, Global Response’s award winning service will ensure that your policyholders and employees get the best possible care, whatever the situation and wherever they are.

Global Response is looking for support in our Claims Administration team!  This role is responsible for overseeing daily policy management and premium activity for a specific product line.   They are a contact for policy related issues for insured members, various sales partners, as well as IMG’s internal customer service and sales departments.  Communication is mainly through email, whether directly from a customer, client or the US Customer Care team.  


  • To process, from request to fulfilment, any amendments to existing policies under the specific schemes 
  • To ensure that the IMG services mailbox is actioned within 1 day to ensure outstanding customer service to all customers 
  • Documenting any policy amendments in IMG’s operating and imaging systems. 
  • Assists with group enrollments - with training 
  • Create individual monthly commission reports for each agent and/or producer – with training 
  • To work alongside the Claims Administrator to aid in the processing of administration tasks for claims handling, when workload and time permits. 
  • Other various policy and administrative related tasks or projects as assigned by the line manager 


  • Proficiency with Microsoft office suite 
  • Strong customer service skills 
  • Attention to detail is imperative 
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision 
  • Service oriented; customer service experience preferred 
  • Ability to prioritize workload 
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills 
  • Ability to be adapted to the needs of the team


Today, this position is Monday - Friday (9-5pm), however dependent on client needs, we may require shift work that could include weekends and bank holidays.  Shift patterns would be as follow on a rota basis:

  • Early shift from 07.45am – 15.45pm
  • Mid shift 10.00am – 18.00pm
  • Late shift from 12.00pm – 20.00pm


Day Shift: £15,450 annum
