Global Response is looking for an IT Project Manager to join our team!  The IT Project Manager is a member of the EPMO, which is part of the Integrated Technologies department.  Our Project Managers will manage small to large application development projects through the entire SDLC. 

They will work with both internal and external business customers, business/requirements analysts, application architects, developers and QA staff to deliver system improvements to streamline our business processes and improve our customer experience.

The key to success in this role will be to efficiently manage projects while clearly and concisely communicating deliverable and timeline expectations and timely status updates.  

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Manage multiple concurrent projects through the entire Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC)
  • Conduct discovery and conceptualization meetings
  • Gather estimates and resource requirements for all aspects of the projects
  • Scope and prioritize activities based on business and customer impact
  • Communicate regularly with team members to understand progress and any issues
  • Escalate project issues and manage the resolutions
  • Provide executive level project status updates
  • Keep project team members informed of project status and expected timelines
  • Identify opportunities for EPMO process improvements
  • Conduct lessons learned meetings after project completion
  • Establish and gather feedback for project success criteria


Knowledge Skills Abilities (requirements)

  • A Bachelor’s Degree in a related field or equivalent combination of education and position specific work experience
  • A minimum of 4 years working in information technology with at least 2 years of experience working specifically as a Project Manager
  • Very strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong knowledge of and experience in an Agile approach to project management
  • Experience planning projects, managing timelines and budgets
  • Experience gathering and documenting requirements

Preferred Skills

  • Experience with insurance or health care industries
  • Experience with SDLC tools


  • This role typically works 9-5, Monday through Friday
