The opportunity

We’re on the lookout for a team player who loves looking after customers as much as we do. A French/Dutch speaker, you’ll help us transition our Benelux operation into the UK and then run it here, in the UK. There’s a whole world of opportunity for you at Opel Vauxhall Finance.

From the beginning of October, we require five full-time customer service advisors to support the transition of our Benelux operation to Cardiff. However, there is a fantastic opportunity for two of those individuals to start six weeks earlier, and spend every Monday to Friday of September in Belgium, learning what the current Benelux operation does. If that is of interest, please state that in your initial telephone conversation after applying. However, if you’d rather start in Cardiff in early October, please also state that as your preference in your initial conversation.

What you’ll be doing

This role is broad, so you’ll be involved in a wide range of customer service/relations duties and the very first point of contact for customers. You’ll be consistent, friendly and reliable as you deal with a range of customer queries, including complaints and collections, so that each of your customers feel valued, understood and listened to. You’ll also be involved with admin support, which includes applying payments, creating refunds and closing accounts. This is a superb role for someone who enjoys variety and wants to be involved in – and take the lead of – different areas of customer service.

About you

Positive? Patient? Great listening and communication skills? Excellent. We’re looking for a real people person with a talent for multitasking and an interest in the car industry. And, of course, those all-important French/Dutch language skills.  A willingness to get stuck in and show us what you’re made of, is essential.
