Temporary Development Worker - Welsh Language Support – 8-month Maternity Leave Cover (June 2019 – February 2020)

Applications for undertaking this as a secondment are welcomed.

Purpose of the role:

To support the Welsh Government’s Cymraeg 2050 goal to increase the number of Welsh speakers to £1million by 2050 by supporting early years and childcare practitioners in member non-maintained early years settings. Promoting the National Centre for Learning Welsh “Work Welsh for Early Years” training programme. To provide post training support to providers to embed Welsh into everyday practice.

Hours of work: 17.5 hours per week 52 weeks of the year Monday - Friday

Salary: £9,100 per annum (pro rata)

Benefits: 23 days holiday per year (pro rata), Company pension scheme

Location: Cardiff Head Office
