Fair Trade Wales is the national organisation for Fair Trade in Wales and works to support, grow and promote the Fair Trade movement in Wales.

We are looking for an enthusiastic and organised coordinator who can use their skills to plan and support events, support grassroots communities in Wales and develop effective communications.


Term: 9 months

Salary: NJC band 16, £23k (£13,700- 25 hours a week, 9 months)

Hours: 25 hours per week - 0.7 pro rata

Fair Trade Wales is the national organisation for Fair Trade education, policy, procurement, support and campaigning in Wales, the world’s first Fair Trade Nation.

The organisation was initially set up as the Wales Fair Trade Forum to oversee the Fair Trade Nation campaign, and on June 6th 2008 Wales made history and became the first ever Fair Trade Nation.

Fair Trade Wales was established as a company, limited by guarantee with not for profit status, in April 2010. We are part of the Wales Africa Partnership which brings together the work of Fair Trade Wales, the Welsh Council for Voluntary Action, the Wales for Africa Health Links Network, the Sub Saharan Advisory Panel and the Welsh Centre for International Affairs (WCIA) and is hosted by the WCIA at the Temple of Peace in Cardiff.
