Are you looking for a flexible work pattern in the Neath area? We are currently recruiting relief staff to join our passionate and committed team of care and support staff within Plas Bryn Rhosyn Residential Care Home.

Plas Bryn Rhosyn is a 60 bed residential care home in Dwr y Felin Road, Neath. It boasts an excellent reputation as being a quality and valued care provider where the needs of the residents are at the centre of all that they do. Staff at Plas Bryn Rhosyn understand that everyone is unique. Tailored care is designed to meet the individual needs and wishes of each resident at the home. Staff are highly trained and understand the importance of enabling people to keep control of their lives.

These positions have the same responsibility as our contracted staff, however as a relief member of staff, you can select shift patterns that match your personal needs.

Pobl Care & Support are looking to lead the sector by changing the way we deliver care and support to the elderly living in our care homes. We understand that it’s the people who we employ will help us achieve this. Whether you’re an experienced carer, or completely new to care, we want to speak to you so we can explain how we are different, and how you can make a difference in people’s lives.

As a care support worker, you will work with the residents closely on a daily basis, assisting them to live their lives to the full. You will assist them with all of their needs according to their wishes. Becoming a friend and having fun with them is one of the most important parts of the role.

The people we are looking for have:

* A passion to work with and enable people to live as independent a life as possible
* An enthusiasm and passion for making a difference to people’s lives
* A positive ‘can do’ attitude
* Excellent communication skills
