This post is split between four services. You will support 2 gentlemen and 1 lady within their own home and community. You will also support 3 gentlemen with varying needs within their own home, whilst also completing admin tasks in another 2 services. The objective is to enhance their day-to-day skills, therefore improving their independence and meeting outcomes. The daily tasks include administering medication, supporting domestic tasks, personal care and supporting individuals with moving and handling needs. You will also be required to work alone.

Shifts will include days, afternoons, mid shifts and sleep-ins and taking part in the on-call system.

This post is part time, 35 hours per week.

What’s the role?

A Lead support worker supports people with learning disabilities and physical disabilities. You will be involved in day-to-day support including: personal care, food preparation, administering medication, housework, develop positive relationships with the people you are supporting and their families. You will support your team, keep accurate and timely records, good communication skills are vital both written and verbal. You will also be required to complete weekly audits, medication competencies and staff 1-1’s, whilst also working with the manager to update personal plans and risk assessments.

The Schemes:

We are looking for someone to complete two teams, you will be based between two supported living services supporting ladies and gents with varying needs. You will be allocated off rota hours to complete admin tasks at another 2 services
