Finance Manager

Contract term: Permanent

Hours: 37 hours per week

Who we are

iTeach are a Cardiff based I.T. Support company offering technical support and services to Education and Business customers across the country.

What you’ll do

We are looking for an experienced, organised and efficient finance person to provide effective finance support to a busy Finance Department. You will take responsibility for the day to day running and financial management of an array of accounts and ensure that all financial reporting is accurate and on time.

You will be AAT qualified and possess experience of Sage 50. You will also have excellent ICT and communication skills with fine attention to detail.

You will be based at Ocean Park House, Cardiff and fit within the finance department reporting to the Operations Director.

What you are responsible for

  • Managing the day to day accounts for:
  • iTeach- turnover £600K
  • ACT Outdoors- turnover £200K
  • Hot Pantry Bakery- turnover £300K
  • Under Your Feet Flooring- turnover £50K
  • 5 Property Companies- 2 transactions per month
  • Preparing and processing purchase ledger payments on a monthly basis
  • Generating and sending sales invoices
  • Chasing outstanding debt owed to companies on a monthly basis
  • Preparing and processing monthly payroll
  • Preparing quarterly VAT returns
  • Producing annual forecasts
  • Producing monthly management accounts
  • Management of online and card banking
  • Any other duties as requested by your Manager, which may be necessary from time to time

Person Specification

Experience

  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience within a Finance role
  • Working experience of Sage 50 system

Qualifications & Knowledge

  • AAT Level 4 or equivalent
