We are currently recruiting for Support Workers in Cardiff to support children in the school holidays.

You will be expected to work in the school holidays; this includes the half term in October and the Christmas holiday. You will also have the opportunity to continue working within the term time once the holidays have come to an end.

Applicants must be over 18 years old, no experience necessary as full training will be given.

You will also be expected to drive so a full license is necessary.

We are looking for support workers who have the following skills and traits:

  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • A good understanding of the issues people with disabilities face
  • An ability to promote choice and independence
  • An ability to communicate well
  • A natural aptitude to work on your own initiative
  • Sign language skills and/or Welsh language skills is an advantage, but not essential.
  • A calm, fun and approachable personality.
