GCSE Maths Tutor - Caerphilly

Basic salary: £26,000 rising to £27,500 PA. Additional Benefits: generous holiday package, contributory pension scheme, health care cover and much more. Total Reward package up to £27,500 per annum

We are looking for a positive, caring individual who is keen to support learners who encounter challenging behaviours, under an alternative curriculum provision, within ACT. You will be enthusiastic and patient and will have a full understanding of behavioural, emotional and social difficulties (BESD).

At our registered independent school, you will plan and deliver high quality teaching, learning, assessment and tutorial support and be responsible for the delivery of Key Stage 4 GCSE Maths curriculum to group sizes of approximately 7, 14 – 16 year olds, who have been referred to us from local authorities under EOTAS, due to either being or at risk of being excluded from mainstream education, are school phobic or are classed as vulnerable.

Applicants will have experience of working with learners with specific educational needs and experience of Maths curriculum delivery.
