Job Elements: -

·A 12 month contract working 16hrs (2 days) per week

·Responsible for planning and conducting development and CMC project activities. Identifying and prioritising tasks on the critical path, influencing and supporting the project team and wider business and reporting against any key project milestones and KPI’s. Coordinate resource both internally and externally to ensure all timelines and budgetary requirements are met.

·Liaise with relevant internal departments and external contacts to ensure regulatory requirements for any CMC submissions are met.

·Actively participate in meetings and communicate cross-functionally internally and externally.

·Manage and execute the design, development, validation and transfer of non-GMP and GMP production processes internally and externally to agreed plans and standards.

·Co-ordinate and support the design, development, validation and transfer of methods of analyses.

·Execute the set up and support stability studies on new formulations and existing product variations.

·Responsible for pre-formulation studies and formulation development

The ideal candidate will have:

·Proven experience and knowledge in drug substance/drug product process development and manufacture, pre-formulation, product formulation, CMC regulatory requirements and pharmaceutical product development activities is essential.

·Knowledge of drug product manufacturing techniques.

·A professional acting as subject matter expert in process development and analytical techniques

·Proven Project Management of new products, line extensions, continuous improvement and technical transfer.

·Ability to manage multiple, cross functional projects to deliver against key project milestones and deadlines.

·Knowledge of analytical method validation and pharmaceutical analytical techniques.

·A degree or equivalent in a scientific or pharmaceutical discipline is required.

·Experience in a development environment in the pharmaceutical industry.
