What is special about this opportunity?

We are a brand new, 24-hour temporary supported housing scheme in Gorseinon for 9 young people aged between 16 and 21 years old. The aim of the scheme is to provide support in a psychologically informed environment to clients to enable them to live independently in their own homes.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is looking for a nightshift role as the hours of work will be 10pm-8am, on a rota basis, which might include occasional weekends and bank holidays. It’s a stepping stone for your career in support. You will have the support of your colleagues and Team Leader and you will be able to build positive working relationships within wider community networks.

Our team provide support to young people to develop the key skills needed to prevent homelessness, improve financial capability and to develop the skills to settle in the community and achieve positive progression. You will play a vital part in enabling people to achieve their goals and empower them to lead independent lives. Being part of this is highly rewarding. You will contribute to the success of the Pobl Group, which is moving from strength to strength see

You will be looking after the project during the night shift hours, keeping it clean and secure. You will be responsible for Health and Safety checks along with other additional duties. You will be the point of contact for our clients, whether they need advice, support or somebody to talk to at the end of the day. It's quieter on the night shift, you will have a chance to carry on with your administration duties or carry out e-learning activities while clients are sleeping.

Actual salary based on the 20 hours per week is £8,245.

For this role you will require an Enhanced DBS check, which we pay for.
