An international group, specialising in the production of high precision, machined products, is looking to add to its thriving engineering team as they are investing heavily into their site. They require a Design Engineer to support the existing team, taking responsibility for the design and development of a range of products in this market leading company.

Role & Responsibilities:

o Detailed Engineering drawings using 3D CAD packages for manufacture and visual realisation
o Liaising closely with Manufacture and Quality departments, providing technical support.
o To be responsible for and help champion the maintenance of Engineering documentation.
o Time management of projects, the ability to meet deadlines.
o Conceptual Design and review with Industry specialist consultants

Knowledge, Skills & Experience:

o HNC or Higher qualification in Engineering related discipline
o Technical Drafting experience, creation and development of details and assembly drawings 2D & 3D.
o An analytical approach to problem solving.
o Strong Project Management skills
