An opportunity has arisen for a Repair Technician within a leading Electronic Manufacturers. The position is temporary with an hourly rate of 7.75, Working hours Will be 7.30am to 4.30am Monday to Friday. The ideal candidate will hold an appropriate academic and (or) vocational qualification in a relevant discipline. Candidates who can demonstrate the equivalent experience may also be considered.
Duties:
Repair Laptops & Accessories to a high standard using the documentation & diagnostic tools provided.
Completely assemble & dis-assemble laptops & accessories.
Carry out component level repairs on PCB's to a high standard
Provide customer feedback via Reports / email & telephone.
Achieve key targets & deadlines whist achieving high levels of quantity / quality & low re-repair rates.
Person Specification:
Appropriate academic and (or) vocational qualification.
Experience in a similar position with proven qualities.
Proven Software & Electrical systems understanding.
Computer literacy should include, but not be limited to, Microsoft Office applications.
It would be an advantage to have an understanding of Siebel & SharePoint systems.
Must be able to establish good internal & external relationships.
Professional resolution of Customer issues.
Highly diligent and tenacious, able to work on own initiative
Robust team working / problem solving and multi-tasking skills
Flexible to respond to business needs
Able to travel at short notice
Is able to demonstrate strong networking skills across a multi discipline team
