Junior Inbound Sales Associate

Info about the Sales Associate role…
As a key member of the sales team, Sales Associate works closely with Sales Executives & Consultants to maintain the CRM database, call and qualify all inbound leads from companies who have taken out a free trial of our software. Sales Associate needs to uncover the high-level requirements of each client, overcome any initial objections and create appointments for Sales Executives to follow up on.

This is a critical role within the sales process as Sales Associate will be the first person that our potential clients speak to so it's essential that you have an excellent phone manner and ability to leave a lasting positive impression on our prospects and clients. As a rapidly growing business the successful Sales Associate will be trained and developed with the intention of promoting them to Sales Executive role within 6 months.

Sales Associate responsibilities:

  • Qualification of all leads and sales opportunities
  • Develop and maintain the customer database
  • Understand customer goals and challenges and establish Brightpearl's product as the best solution available
  • Demonstrate the ability to carry on a business conversation with owners and senior decision makers
  • Overcome any objections and schedule follow-up appointments with Sales Executives
  • Manage our sales email inbox and respond to all emails in a timely manner
  • Maintain accurate records of all sales and prospecting activities including calls, emails, and follow-up activities using Brightpearl CRM
  • Attain objectives / targets assigned by management
 
What we need the Sales Associate to have…

Experience/Skills Required:

  • At least 3 years’ experience in a customer service or sales role
  • Solid verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
  • Proven time management skills in a dynamic sales environment
  • Experience of using related applications such as CRM, ERP and web technologies
 
Experience/Skills Desired:
  • Experience in selling into small businesses
  • Understanding of how small businesses operate
  • Experience of selling software or web technologies
