A new position for a Head of user experience / Creative le
ad has just opened with one of our most prestigious clients.
The role is to be the creative thinker for all of the company?s products including their recently acquired Social Network.
The company is extremely innovative and cutting edge and we need a creative thinker who is able to match our technology with cutting innovative user interfaces and aesthetic designs.
The role will required two main disciplines:
> Creative Thought: as Head of User Experience, you will need to have a super-charged imagination and be able to take roughly formed concepts and turn them into multiple options for execution.
> Creative Design: once the options and ideas are set in place the successful candidate will need to turn these into wireframes and creative/ aesthetic designs. The company does have a small creative team who can assist with this but you will be the person who will lead the design.
Responsibilities:
> To work with initial ideas turn them into practical outcomes that could be implemented in terms of a user experience / user interface.
> Carry out user research to guide an idea through the design phase of the products. This would be done in conjunction with the dedicated research department.
> Perform market research on competition and trends to discover current user experiences.
Skills/Qualifications:
> 5-10 years experience working in either:
o Television industry (particularly IPTV or WebTV) or online video
o Web-based user interfaces, particularly consumer facing user experiences
> Confident communicator ? role will involve explaining ideas and designs
> Great social skills ? pivotal part of the role will be to build relationships with relevant internal parties and ability to discuss user experiences with external parties
> Strong creative thinking skills!
> Strong creative production skills using wire-framing products and other creative suites such as Adobe or similar
