Becoming Green Ltd are an fast growing company based in Cardiff who are expanding very quickly. As an IT Support Technician professional, you will have solid work experience, work ethic, and a passion for providing exceptional IT support to a large number of staff. We are now looking for this person to join our family and work in our Call Centre in Cardiff.
Responsibilities:
- Provide exceptional IT service to a large number of office staff
- Deploy, support and maintain a fleet of laptops, workstations, handheld devices and peripherals
- Resolve day to day PC, Internet & Server issues
- Telephone system support with external service providers
- Monitor and resolve issues with backup/recovery operations
- Develop and maintain written instructional materials
- Communicate and instruct with novice and expert computer users relative to hardware and software support issues
- Coordinate with Manager and users to identify the need for new systems and/or recommend enhancements to improve IT operations
Experience and Qualifications Required:
- Diploma in Computer or IT related area of study or equivalent
- 2 – 5 years providing desktop support
- Microsoft Certifications are a definite asset
- Excellent interpersonal, oral and written communication skills
- Working knowledge of Win Image an asset
- Good organizational, time management skills and the ability to multi task
- Working knowledge of Microsoft server family of products
- Experience with Anti-Virus, Log shipping, Database back up, CRM’s are a distinct advantage
