Trainee/ Graduate Recruitment Consultant- Legal
We are looking to recruit a Trainee/ Graduate Recruitment Consultant to work within legal recruitment. This role will be based in Cardiff. You will work on assignments for the recruitment of qualified lawyers from newly qualified to Partner level and will help service an impressive portfolio of clients (private practice) across South Wales & South West.
You will initially "shadow" and support the work of experienced consultants across all aspects of the recruitment process, whilst being coached and developed into a fully-fledged consultant's role. Some of your core responsibilities will include:
* Attending client meetings to understand and take on new vacancy requirements; Assimilating and compiling market information and intelligence to help with new business development, and the identification of new opportunities for Tailored Solutions.
* Interviewing and selecting candidates and providing candidate overviews for our clients;
* Begin the process of building your own client database by following up on business leads, writing to and contacting prospective clients and phoning them to win new business and develop relationships and support the entire recruitment process.
* Conducting candidate search strategies using online advertising, databases, direct search techniques and social networking sites.
Recruitment is a sales and target orientated industry, requiring first class presentation and communication skills, along with outstanding personal drive and energy. Building long term relationships and delivering the highest levels of service are key to success, and we will help you develop your skills fully in all aspects of this role.
