An award winning, knowledge-based company, the UK leading provider of specialist products to many of the world’s global, blue chip food companies, due to their continued growth is currently seeking to recruit an Operations Manager for their South Wales facility
In this senior management role, your strong financial and leadership skills will drive and deliver the strategic and operational activities of their manufacturing facility using Lean techniques whilst engendering a culture where your team is continuously enhancing profitability. You will drive and manage change and have a passion for continuously improving key performance indicators whilst maintaining their World Class customer service.
The ideal candidate will have demonstrable management experience gained within a manufacturing environment ideally food, although light engineering candidates will be considered. A degree or equivalent within operations or production is highly desirable along with strong IT skills. You will be an excellent communicator, assertive, methodical, numerate and must have a positive ‘can do’ attitude.
