Job Elements: -
• Working closely with the Sponsorship Manager, the Sponsorship Account Manager will be responsible for building relationships with a number of key partners of the Group ensuring effective rights delivery.
• Effectively manage the delivery of the sponsor’s contract
• Organise and administer all sponsorship delivery activities
• Lead on delivering all commercial rights in relation to the sponsor’s contract at the events
• Assisting with development of sales collateral
• Responsible for assisting with financial management, budgeting, invoicing etc
• Actively support the Sales, Marketing and Sponsorship Managers in integrating any new partner organisations as required into the Sales and Marketing department.
• Identification of branding and advertising opportunities
• Manage the full delivery of commercial programmes.
The ideal candidate will have:
• Previous experience of working in a commercial/client facing environment required. (2 – 3 years experience preferable)
• Experience of working within a professional sporting environment is advantageous
• Practical sponsorship account management/activation experience
• Excellent understanding and experience of management of sponsorship contracts
• Experience of working with event organisers and national sports federations
• Educated to degree level – preferable in a related discipline
• Excellent IT Skills, specifically Microsoft Word, Excel & PowerPoint.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills are essential.
