We are urgently looking for a UCAS Customer Service Officer to start asap. The placement will be on an ongoing basis, and the role is based in Bridgend. MUST HAVE UCAS EXPERIENCE. The hourly rate is dependent on experience.
Main duties:
1. To register for UCAS membership and to ensure membership is updated and renewed whenever necessary.
2. To develop the new system to meet UCAS requirements.
3. To liaise effectively with Academic Schools to ensure that the course database is up to date at all times.
4. To monitor and manage all applications via the UCAS database and to ensure effective communication with applicants thereby ensuring that they have all the information needed.
5. To develop strong relations with the admissions departments at partner companies.
6. To provide effective management information to senior Managers identifying gaps, trends etc.
7. To take the lead in organising an effective clearing process for late applications.
8. To be the lead contact operationally for UCAS and all UCAS institutions and admissions related issues.
9. To keep up to date with UCAS and related systems requirements and to continue the development of the systems to meet these requirements.
10. To provide regular updates and training on UCAS matters.
11. To identify, plan and integrate all marketing related aspects of Customer Relationship Management, within the new corporate Admissions process – from enquiry through to enrolment.
12. Identify and execute timely and relevant communication processes.
13. To liaise with the Marketing team and to provide support for all related events.
14. To have very good knowledge of all aspects of student support information and reception/front of house duties, across all campuses, in order to provide additional customer services support at key/busy times, to include the evening rota.
