Job Elements: -
• The main objective of the role is to maintain the Health & Safety, Quality and Environmental systems and procedures within the Company, to ensure that H & S inspections and external TS16949 and ISO14001 certification audits are completed successfully.
• Support of various customer and internal quality initiatives will be expected as part of the role.
• Manage the preparation and completion of external audits for H&S and TS16949, ISO14001.
• Co-ordinate the completion of follow-up actions from external audits.
• Manage the internal audit program and routine internal audit meetings.
• Maintain the documentation within the H&S systems Quality and Environmental.
• Manage the archive area and concession control database.
The ideal candidate will have:
• Minimum of 4 years experience within automotive manufacturing environment.
• NEBOSH H&S qualification an advantage, but full training will be provided where necessary as it is a requirement to meet the H&S role requirements.
• TS16949 Quality and ISO14001 Environmental system specific experience.
• A proven quality engineering background fully familiar with Automotive OEM 8D and problem solving techniques.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills are essential with an ability to communicate a clear purpose and direction.
