Main Responsibilities
An opportuinty has arisen to work within the Collections & Fraud department at one of the most prestigious call centres in Cardiff city centre.
The main purpose of the role is to:
- Minimise bad debt write off for the company by effective debt collection utilising all communication routes available, including telephone, letter and text messaging.
- Identify any bad debt trends/gaps in processes and propose alternatives.
- Liase with collections agencies to maximise recovery performance and limit debt write off's.
- All work completed to standard and within agreed turnaround times.
- Effective management of customer enquiries/disputes to minimise customer dissatisfaction and claims for compensation.
- Accurately draft/prepare on behalf of the company, police witness statements for signature by appropriate authorised employee in accordance with DPA and business objectives.
- To undertake investigations and action appropriately either identified or alleged Farudulent activity in connection with company policies.
- To achieve individually set debt recovery collection rates to contribute towards the overall business budget.
