Our client based in the Hengoed area require an Expeditor to support the Purchasing Manager and Material Planners. This position is temporary initially with the view to becoming permanent. You will have previous experience of working in a similar role in a manufacturing organisation and be able to commence work immediately.
Main responsibilities:
- Issue schedules in line with requirements generated via MRP system
- Liaise with suppliers on a regular basis to expedite deliveries
- Continually monitor suppliers to ensure progress and delivery adherence
- Provide admin support to purchasing department
Skills and Experience
It is essential you have excellent communication and organisation skills with the ability plan your workload effectively.
Hours - Mon - Fri, 8am - 5pm or 7.30am - 4.30pm.
