Main purpose of the role:
My client provide volume legal services to the UK's top financial institutions and insurers. Their client base includes UK leading banks, building societies, insurance companies, private and public sector organisations, insurance brokers and major Plcs.
My client is currently looking for a Legal Assistant to work in the Mortgage Litigation Team as part of the Secured Recoveries department. My client is looking for LPC Graduates.
Key responsibilities:
The Legal Assistant will need to ensure the smooth handling of mortgage cases through the litigation process, they will be asked to work to set legal procedures within a pressurised environment and will be required to perform daily duties expediently and to a high standard.
They will be working to service level agreements and key performance indicators on behalf of the client as well as demonstrating good communication skills when liaising with other team members, asset managers, contractors and Court staff.
Skills and experience:
Experience in a client facing role would be advantageous, as well as previous experience working as part of a team.
Key competencies:
Legal Assistant will need to possess and demonstrate excellent verbal and written communication skills; be a team player with the ability to work under pressure and demonstrate key attention to detail with sound numerical ability
