Excellent Role in Cardiff to work for a top tier law firm as a Analyst Programmer on a full time basis.
The Role
You will have responsibility for the development and maintenance of custom applications funded via projects and the BAU budget. Applications will be developed in VB.NET, VB6 and Java (BlackBerry). The solutions delivered will be aimed at improving efficiencies of internal departments or satisfying our customer requirements.
You will report to the Application Development Manager and will be a member of a local team of 7 seven and a wider development team of around 15.
- Delivery of production quality code based on customer requirements in line with plans agreed with Project Managers, Lead APs or the development manager
- Production of professional design documentation and adherence to technical standards.
- Managing direct customer relationships and expectations.
Skills and experience:
- Experience of VB.NET and VB6 is essential.
- Experience of Java and Team Foundation Server 2008 would also be advantageous.
- Experience of a Professional Service role would be an advantage.
