Mechanical Maintenance Technician

Job Elements: -

• Working a 3 shift, 5 day rota
• Maintenance, repair & setting up of Manufacturing & Warehouse equipment as required, whilst ensuring compliance with company quality polices, 5s requirements, H&S guidelines etc
• Completion of PPM’s on time, every time; resolve equipment breakdowns in a logical & timely manner
• Completion of documentation e.g. maintenance logs, shift OEE logs
• Ensure effective shift handover
• Participate in root cause analysis / problem solving activities as required

The ideal candidate will have: -

• Minimum of 5 years experience working in an automated production environment
• ONC or above (or equivalent) in a mechanical related discipline
• Experience of PLC and servo driven production and manufacturing machinery
• Min 3 years working in an highly regulated environment
• Basic understanding of “6 Sigma” problem solving techniques
