The Role:
Our client, a well established resourcing organisation, is looking to appoint a branch administrator for their Cardiff based Recruitment agency.

You will be supporting a team of 3 consultants and a branch manager and will be required to carry out a number of administrative tasks.

Duties and responsibilities:

Payroll Administration

  • Processing temporary timesheets, keeping to the deadlines.
  • Chasing late timesheets.
  • Accurately inputting data into the payroll system.
  • Providing copy timesheets as required by credit control.
  • Dealing with payroll queries, advise on tax office, tax and national insurance.
  • Advise on holiday pay procedures

Applicant Care

  • Greet the applicant and assist with the pre-screening form.
  • Sending application forms and arranging interviews.
  • Maintain a personal awareness of current permanent vacancies and outstanding bookings to be filled.
  • Advise the Manager and log in the appropriate place any applicant information on pay rates.
  • Updating applicant availability lists.
  • Applying for applicant references
  • Audit applicant wallets and Compliance
  • Applicant attraction
  • Posting adverts on job boards

Reception and Administration

  • Be aware of all branch strategies and aims and provide all administration support, using all resources under your control.
  • Transfer all applicant’s original CV’s and documents onto the database.
  • Distribute the post and ‘book in’ references received.
  • Deal with all the branch filing.
  • Chase any references from applicants previous employers.
  • Taking internal and external messages, dealing with issues direct, taking messages or transferring to the relevant team member.
  • Printing time sheets and inputting into Payslips
  • Daily franking of post
  • First point of contact for all incoming visitors and telephone calls to the branch.

Candidate Requirements:
Previous administration experience required, as is a strong work ethic with the ability to work on own initiative.
