We are looking for a candidate to provide administrative support and assistance to the Executive PA.
The role will involve:
- Assist with collating, formatting and standardising papers for Board and Sub-Committee meetings.
- Assist with servicing meetings by booking transport, parking, meeting rooms, IT and catering requirements.
- Take accurate and concise minutes of various meetings, and circulate agreed minutes as appropriate.
- Assist with effective management, storage, maintenance and retrieval of the Executive Team’s electronic and paper based documentation, ensuring confidential and commercially sensitive information is handled accordingly.
- Assist with the planning and co-ordination of executive away days, booking transport and accommodation, preparing information packs and other materials ensuring efficient administration and related arrangements.
- Assist with the creation and management of databases for the Executive Team.
- Provide any other support to the Executive Team as required.
- Deputise for the Executive PA in their absence.
Essential:
- Proficient in all aspects of MS Office
- Excellent minute taking and typing skills
- Ability to prioritise workload and tasks
- Strong administrative skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Relevant experience in a similar role
This is a temporary role based in Newport, to start asap. It is on a month-by-month basis, it could possibly be 3 months. The hourly rate is £8.80 - £8.90ph.
