Maintenance Technology Engineer

<p><strong>Proudly working with a major manufacturing company in Carmarthenshire we are recruiting the following position: Maintenance Technology Engineer.</strong></p><p><span style="font-weight: bold; color: rgb(255, 0, 0);">Duties / Accountabilities:</span></p><ul><li>Implement the Management Systems; ensuring all activity is undertaken in compliance with Health, Safety and Environmental requirements.</li><li>Underpin manufacturing performance and support manufacturing Improvement and works development plans.</li><li>Develop Capital and SRE proposals in line with the areas improvement plans.</li><li>Develop and facilitate the process for area improvement plans and the delivery of Reliability and Improvement Plans for all areas. <br /></li><li>To provide specialist technical support in the application of reliability engineering and asset management tools and techniques, to ensure safety and operational performance improvement. <br /></li><li>To facilitate the implementation of reliability centred maintenance (RCM and its variants) and risk based inspection (RBI) assessments and outputs, throughout the company.</li><li>To aid the development of condition based maintenance (CBM), lubrication engineering, failure analysis, engineering systems (Planning & Spares) and advanced maintenance services provided by the Engineering Development Department. </li></ul><p><span style="font-weight: bold; color: rgb(255, 0, 0);">Requirements:</span></p><ul><li>Candidates must be educated to degree level in Engineering or have equivalent qualifications supported by several years relevant plant experience and be working to Chartered Engineer status.</li><li>Knowledge of reliability engineering techniques and best practices, i.e. RCM, CBM, RBI, failure analysis techniques, life cycle costing, etc. required. </li><li>Knowledge of Lean manufacturing methods would also be advantageous. </li></ul>
