We are currently recruiting for a Legal Executive/Compliance Office based in Cardiff Bay.

Main Responsibilities:

  • To advise and keep key members of staff briefed and up to date with current legislation with regards to the DPA.
  • To manage and ensure that all contracts are reviewed and compliant with contract law on a regular basis.
  • To liaise and negotiate with clients with regards to Service Contracts.
  • To control and develop the company’s standard terms and conditions and also ensure protection of Intellectual Property by monitoring and adherence to trademark rules.
  • To manage the ISO27001 accreditation and continual audit procedure verifying that all documents and policies are current and made available for use in the company’s document library.
  • To carry out general day to day duties as and when required to ensure the smooth operation of the company.

Skills and Experience:

  • You will be suitably qualified Solicitor/Legal Executive with an excellent working knowledge of the Data Protection Act and related legislation. 
  • You will need to have an in-depth understanding of contract law, compliance regulations and negotiation and will support and advise on legal issues, including contract matter and compliance with corporate policies.
  • You will have sound drafting skills and be required to draft approved amendments to contracts as and when required. 
  • You will have a good understanding/working knowledge or ideally experience of ISO 27001.

  • Salary: £28,000 - £30,000 depending on experience

Hours of Work:

  • 37.5 per week Mon-Fri 9.00am - 5.00pm
  • Lunch & breaks: 30 minutes flexible
