The Role
CVV is the largest sight loss charity in Wales and is looking to recruit a Head of Development. Responsible for our partnerships, direct services and our future service expansion plans the post holder will report directly to the legal directors of CVV and be responsible for all aspects of our business. The post holder will also take a lead on key service areas on behalf of RNIB Cymru with whom we are an associate charity.
Skills and Experience
Prior working within the third sector is not an essential requirement.

The Cardiff Vales and Valleys (formerly known as Cardiff Institute for the Blind) is an independent local voluntary organisation devoted to empowering blind and partially sighted people within the counties of Cardiff, Vale of Glamorgan, Rhondda Cynon Taff, Merthyr, Swansea and Neath Port Talbot to live full and independent lives. The CVV needs the support of local people, both financially and as volunteers to continue and develop its work.
