The Role:
Can you stand in our customer's shoes?
Working within our busy office in central Cardiff, our Claims Handlers have full responsibility for each individual motor insurance claim we deal with.
They speak to the policy holder regularly to ensure the utmost customer service satisfaction, establishing liability, negotiating the claim settlement, bringing each claim to a swift and successful outcome. They also have the responsibility of recovering any outlay as a result of accidental damage.
We will give you the responsibility of your own portfolio to manage as well as the tools and guidance you need from your Team Leader. You will be an individual who can multi-task, prides yourself in the accuracy of your work and can remain calm and patient whilst working to defined targets and deadlines.
You will have/will be:
- Previous experience in Uninsured Loss Recovery and / or Third Party Motor Liability Claims
- Previous Insurance Claims experience, although training will be given
- Superb Customer Services skills and proven experience
- Excellent telephone manner
- Strong communication skills both written and oral
- Accurate keyboard skills
- IT literacy
