We are currently recruiting an experience Hotel Receptionist/Guest Services Manager to cover maternity leave.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Supervision and motivation of team members including recording of sickness and lateness notification
  • Ensuring high levels of customer service at all times and that the guests expectations are met at all times
  • Adhere to the Brand Standards
  • Preparation of financial reporting for the hotel and central office
  • Revenue management & Financial reconciliations and banking 
  • Adhere to all internal policies and procedures 
  • Training of new and existing team members.
  • Actively involved in finding new business for the hotel and passing information to the central sales team.
  • Ensuring hotel security, safety of guests including provision of first aid and taking control in an emergency situation 
  • Preparation of rotas ensuring correct levels of staff for business needs
  • Management of reception, bar, conference room and breakfast service including hands on support

Skills and Experience:

  • Experience of Supervision in a hotel or customer service environment
  • Articulate and communicative
  • Numerate, computer literate
  • Good interpersonal skills 
  • Organised and systematic
  • Concern for quality of product and service 
  • Market awareness
  • Proven leadership ability
  • Have a good knowledge of local area 

Working hours:

The contract will be covering maternity leave for a year, but there is the possibility that it could become permanent.
