The Role:
A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an experienced tool setter working within the Ystrad Mynach area. Our ever expanding client specialises in a range of injection moulding machinery and is seeking an experienced tool setter with a similar back ground. The main objective of this position is to effect all the tool changes by the safest and most efficient means possible, while working to tool setting procedures.
The main duties for this position are:
- Ensure that any changes or improvements that are implemented within the department are adhered to.
- Work with the shop/shift manager to continually improve the efficiency of the department.
- Ensure all tool changes are carried out safely.
- Report any faults to the shop/shift manager and help with problem solving.
- Always wear protective equipment; you will also be working with the company to ensure that all health and safety policies and procedures are adhered to.
Shift Information:
This is an ongoing temporary position with the chance of going permanent for the right candidate.
Permanent night shifts only, working hours are; 10 PM - 6 AM
