Main Responsibilities
Our client is highly successful UK division of a world leading producer of high technology.
They are currently seeking to recruit an ambitious career minded Project Engineer. Together with the Facilities Engineer, you will be responsible for the manufacture of the companies designed equipment and report to and provide support to the Engineering works manager. Duties of the job: Check internally generated equipment design drawings Design investigations, Equipment investigations and sourcing. Monitor and maintain Design and Manufacture Records Engage and liaise with mechanical engineering contractors to ensure compliance Plant and Equipment Spares Resolve production difficulties by acquisition of equipment / material / facilities and establish new production equipment / facilities Obtain quotes from suppliers and place orders for manufacture of designed equipment and progress orders ensuring incoming work from suppliers meets quality standards
Skills and Experience
Candidate requirements: Previous experience in a similar position Degree in Mechanical / Production engineering Desirable: Experience in mechanical design Working knowledge of fluid mechanics/thermo dynamics CAD/CAM experience Metals industry experience.
